The Bulgarian-American Fulbright Commission, in partnership with Balkan Heritage Foundation, announced a new study/research award in Archaeology/History for the 2018/2019 academic year. Upon arrival in Bulgaria in August/September 2018, the grantee will take part in a Balkan Heritage Field School. Following field school, the student will receive ongoing academic guidance from BHF for the remaining grant period. The grantee may also take a university course to expand their knowledge and network with other academics. Grantees will be expected to produce a tangible outcome – paper, conference presentation, etc. – from their research by the end of the grant period.
