The Balkan Heritage Foundation (BHF) maintains a small private library containing nearly 1,400 print volumes and over 1,700 digital books and journals in the fields of history, archaeology and cultural heritage, as well as more than 90 maps, in multiple languages (including English, Bulgarian, German, Serbian, Russian and Greek). Over the years, the Foundation has received book donations from Ada Petkova, Alexander Minchev, Angela Pencheva, Anitsa Georgievska, Gavril Lazov, Ivan Vasilev, the Institute of Art Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IAS–BAS), Marion Worsley, Mishko Tutkovski, the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (NAIM–BAS), the National Institution Stobi (North Macedonia), Nayden Prahov, Svetla Dimitrova, Svetoslav Ribalov, Svilen Ovcharov and Tamaki Suzuki. These materials are available free of charge, upon request, at the BHF office in Sofia.
