BCThubs project at our dedicated stand

On October 16, 2024, at the High-Tech Summit for the Black Sea (HTS4BS) in Sofia, the Balkan Heritage Foundation, Aqua Prom LTD, The Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (IICT), and The Centre for Underwater Archaeology (CUA)—representing the Bulgarian Hub—presented the BCThubs project at our dedicated stand!

BCThubs focuses on developing technology-driven solutions for the sustainable preservation and promotion of Underwater Cultural Heritage (UWCH).

This conference, organized under the EU Horizon 2020-funded BRIDGE-BS program, serves as a major platform for ocean digitalization and Industry 4.0, bringing together blue economy innovators from the Black Sea region and beyond.

The event featured presentations of business ideas supported by the Black Sea Accelerator (BSA), with discussions spanning key topics such as renewable maritime energy, sustainable aquaculture, blue biotech, green ports, the circular economy, and marine security. Participants also took part in pitching sessions with international sustainable investors and enjoyed matchmaking opportunities with partners and stakeholders.

The summit provided an excellent platform to showcase our efforts in developing innovative solutions for preserving and promoting UWCH while contributing to innovation and sustainability in the blue economy.

Don’t forget to join us for our exciting international conference from December 4-6. Don’t miss the chance to connect, learn, and grow with global experts.
