The Balkan Heritage Foundation Supports Exhibition at the Ethnography Museum in Sozopol
The Balkan Heritage Foundation (BHF) supported the initiative of its partner – the Municipal Cultural Institute (MCI) “Museum Center” – Sozopol to open a new exhibition at the Ethnography Museum in the coastal town. The museum is located in the traditional 19th century “Kurtidi House” – an architectural monument of local importance in the Old town of Sozopol. The exhibition showcases artifacts related to local crafts such as fishing, wine making, salt and metal production, metalworking, logging and wood processing, construction, pottery, textiles, clothing and other elements of everyday life in the Strandzha Mountain coastal region.
The Balkan Heritage Foundation provided the amount of 1150 euros for the exhibition, which opened in August 2016.
