IMMERSIUM HERITAGE FIELD SCHOOL at the Archaeological site Sobi, North Macedonia
The first one-week IMMERSIUM Heritage Field School – part of the international project “Immersive Storytelling for new Cultural Experiences” at the archaeological site Stobi, Republic of N. Macedonia ended on Sunday (04.09).
The field school introduced participants from Albania, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Norway, Slovenia, and Serbia to the process of applying new technologies to digital tools for immersive storytelling at archaeological sites. The program included lectures, workshops, open discussions, mobile app testing, a hackathon, and a cultural trip to Bitola.
There are two more field schools part of this project: Emona, Slovenia, beginning on 20 September, and Viminacium, Serbia, beginning on 27 September.
